Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Green world inc (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Calculator Photo & Video Vault (the “App”), also labeled Calculator+ on the device, our related websites, and our cloud backup service. The App is published on Google Play as package eztools.calculator.photo.vault. It opens as a working calculator. After you set a passcode, you can unlock a private vault for photos and videos.

This Policy applies to:

  • the Android App;
  • optional paid cloud backup at cpv.calculatorphotovault.info;
  • in-app advertising, including Google AdMob and ads served from ads.calculatorphotovault.info;
  • passcode recovery emails, feedback, purchase verification, and related support.

It does not cover Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google Cloud Storage, or other third-party products except as they are used through the App. Those services have their own policies.

2. Information we collect

We do not require an account to use the calculator or the local vault. Some features are optional and collect more information only when you use them.

2.1 Information stored only on your device

  • Vault passcode. Created and stored on the device so you can unlock the vault.
  • Photos and videos you import. Files you choose to import are copied into the App’s private storage in an encoded form so a normal gallery app cannot open them. We do not upload these files unless you turn on paid cloud backup.
  • Vault folders, file names, and local settings. Including language, fingerprint unlock, Wi-Fi-only backup, and similar preferences.
  • Optional recovery email. Stored on the device until you use recovery or sign in to cloud backup.
  • Fingerprint / biometric unlock. If enabled, Android performs the biometric check on the device. We do not receive your fingerprint or face data.

The device backup setting for this App is disabled (allowBackup=false), so Android backup is not used to copy App data off the device.

2.2 Information you provide

  • Google account email and display name if you sign in with Google to set a recovery email or a cloud account. The App requests email (and an ID token) through Google Sign-In.
  • Recovery requests. If you forget the passcode and ask us to send it, the App sends the recovery email, the passcode (protected in transit), an app-generated device identifier, device model, OS version, install time, vault item count, and app version to our servers so we can email the passcode.
  • Feedback. If you submit feedback, we receive the message, optional screenshots you attach, an anonymous device ID, device model, OS version, app version, and, if you are signed in, your cloud email.

2.3 Cloud backup (optional, paid)

Cloud backup is off by default. If you buy a cloud plan, sign in, and enable backup, we process:

  • your cloud account email;
  • vault folder and file metadata (names, folder structure, size, storage object identifiers);
  • the encoded vault files themselves, uploaded to object storage operated for the App (described in the Play listing as Google Cloud Storage);
  • purchase / subscription status needed to keep the backup available.

You can limit backup to Wi-Fi. Keep your passcode and cloud login. If they are lost and you have no recovery email, we cannot reconstruct vault access for you.

Cloud backup is an account service we operate. It is not a zero-knowledge service: files are encoded on the device before upload, but we host the backup infrastructure.

2.4 Purchases

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect your full payment card number. After a purchase, the App may send your cloud email (if signed in) together with package name, product ID, order ID, purchase token, and purchase time to our servers to restore Premium / cloud access.

2.5 Advertising (free, ad-supported mode)

If you have not purchased ad removal or a cloud plan that removes ads, the App shows ads, including:

  • Google AdMob app-open, native, interstitial, and rewarded ads;
  • fallback native ads loaded from our ad service at ads.calculatorphotovault.info.

Advertising SDKs may collect or access:

  • advertising identifiers (for example Google Advertising ID);
  • IP address, device type, OS version, app version, language, and approximate network information;
  • ad impressions, clicks, and performance data;
  • cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers used to serve, measure, and (where allowed) personalize ads.

Google and other ad partners may use this information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, detect fraud, and measure campaigns. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising technologies.

2.6 Analytics, crashes, and remote configuration

We use Google Firebase:

  • Firebase Analytics — app opens, screen/page events, feature funnels (for example first-run setup and purchase flow), and similar usage events;
  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash and diagnostic data to fix bugs;
  • Firebase Remote Config — feature flags and ad unit IDs.

These products may collect device and app identifiers, IP address, and event data. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

2.7 App configuration

The App contacts our servers to fetch ad-display policy and app configuration. This uses ordinary network information needed to complete the request.

2.8 Device permissions

PermissionWhy we ask
Photos / videos / storageOnly to import files you select into the vault, export them, or attach feedback images.
InternetAds, analytics, cloud backup, recovery email, purchases, and feedback.
Wi-Fi stateHonor the “Wi-Fi only” cloud backup setting.
Fingerprint / biometricOptional vault unlock on the device.
Boot completedSchedule backup / maintenance work after reboot.

3. How we use information

  • Provide the calculator, local vault, encoding of imported media, and optional biometric unlock.
  • Send a passcode recovery email when you request it.
  • Operate optional cloud backup and restore.
  • Verify purchases and keep Premium / cloud entitlements in sync.
  • Show ads in the free version and measure ad performance.
  • Understand feature usage, fix crashes, and configure the App.
  • Respond to feedback and support requests.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, or security issues, and comply with law.

4. Advertising, cookies, and local storage

The App uses advertising SDKs that may store identifiers on your device and may read the Google Advertising ID. In a web browser these technologies are often called cookies. In the App they are typically SDK preferences, advertising IDs, and similar local storage.

Where required, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will present a consent message through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform before using personal data for personalized advertising. You can also reset or opt out of advertising personalization in Android settings (Google > Ads, or Privacy > Ads, depending on the device).

Purchasing ad removal or an eligible cloud plan stops the App from requesting those ads.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your vault photos or videos. We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that host our API, email delivery, and cloud object storage.
  • Google for Play Billing, Sign-In, Play in-app review, Firebase, AdMob, and (for cloud backup) cloud object storage.
  • Advertising partners that participate in ad serving through AdMob or our ad service. They receive advertising identifiers and ad-event data, not your vault media.
  • Legal requests if required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect users, the App, or our rights.

Vault media stay on the device unless you enable cloud backup. Feedback images are sent only if you attach them.

6. Retention

  • Local vault data remains on the device until you delete items, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
  • Recovery email content is used to deliver the passcode. We do not keep your passcode on our servers as a standing password database after the recovery message is sent.
  • Cloud backup is kept while the account exists and the subscription rules allow storage. You can delete the cloud account and its stored files.
  • Purchase records needed to restore entitlements may be kept for accounting, fraud prevention, and support.
  • Feedback is kept long enough to handle the request.
  • Ads and analytics data follow the retention practices of Google and other ad/analytics providers.

7. Security

Imported vault files are encoded on the device before they are stored locally and before they are uploaded for cloud backup. Network requests to our API use HTTPS. Cloud account identifiers sent as headers are transmitted in protected form.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Protect your device lock, vault passcode, recovery email, and cloud login. If you uninstall the App or lose the device without cloud backup and without recovery email, we cannot restore the local vault.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Use the App without cloud backup or recovery email.
  • Change or remove the recovery email in Settings.
  • Turn cloud backup off, or restrict it to Wi-Fi.
  • Sign out of the cloud account in the App.
  • Delete cloud account data in the App or at https://cpv.calculatorphotovault.info/delete-account. This deletes the cloud email identifier, folder/file metadata, and stored cloud media. Local photos and videos on the device are not removed.
  • Delete local vault items, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
  • Remove ads by purchasing the applicable in-app product.
  • Opt out of ad personalization in device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to portability of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify the request.

9. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age of consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it where required.

10. International transfers

Google and other providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you use cloud backup, ads, analytics, or Google Sign-In, your information may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms used by those providers.

11. EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data to provide the App (including a contract for paid features you buy), to pursue legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, and product improvement, to comply with law, and — for personalized advertising and similar optional uses — based on consent collected through a certified CMP where required.

You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal. Withdrawal may mean you see fewer or non-personalized ads rather than no ads, unless you have purchased ad removal.

12. US state privacy disclosures

We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood as exchanging data for money. Advertising partners may collect identifiers for targeted advertising. You can opt out of ad personalization in device settings and, where shown, through in-app privacy choices. You may request access or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing [email protected] or by using the cloud deletion page above.

13. Third-party policies

14. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. The current version will be posted at this URL and linked from the Google Play listing. Material changes may also be described in an App or Play Store update note.
